I checked other available rooms in my chosen category in the app and all others faced east. THE GOOD - Checked in on app a few hours before arrival and was pre-assigned a room on the 5th floor facing west. I notice lots of details in my hotel stays and my 5-star rating indicates my overall satisfaction with this stay. Booked a 1 King Bed Deluxe Room for 2 nights using Hilton Honors app. So we decided to do another staycation (more like work-ation) at the Juniper Hotel Cupertino, Curio Collection by Hilton. PG&E was messing up the neighborhood again and cutting electricity (in the end of 8 hours). Not exactly how you a hotel should treat a Hilton Honors member. There are multiple separate charges on my card for unknown reasons. To compound the issue, the folio is incorrect and I was charged for items that should have been credited to my account. "We hope you enjoyed your stay at the JUNIPER CUPERTINO, CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON - come again soon!" I haven't even gone to bed yet and the hotel makes me feel unwelcomed with a departure an e-mail.
All good so why a 1 rating? As a guest currently staying at the hotel, I already received my bill at 1 AM before I have even checked out. Heard little street noise or noise from adjacent rooms. Food was ok, average for a restaurant, a little better than typical hotel restaurants. Bartender took order promptly and received food quickly. In hotel restaurant service was excellent. Rooms floors can be accessed directly from garage which is convenient. Parking is free in the garage and hotel access by key only from garage.
